OSCARS SPECIAL-The Fittest Actors And Their Fashion Of All Times

Sure, the OSCARS are a night when Hollywood come together to recognize the best performances of the year.
However, let’s be honest: Some of you will be watching, at least in part, to see what the stars are wearing to the show. With that comes the fitness part.Dresses look good on fit bodies. Many actor nominees and guests revv up their Training schedules and start eating right to walk that red carpet.Over the years there have been many hits and misses But here i am recalling few of my fav actors who won brownie points in fitness as well
Cate Blanchett in Givenchy, 2011

When I think of someone killing it on the red carpet, this is the first dress I think of. Not because Cate looks hotter than anyone else ever has at the Oscars, but because she looks like Cate Blanchett at her most fabulous. And that, to me, is what the perfect dress should be about, because aiming for Most Beautiful is a fool’s errand. There are too many gorgeous people out there – never more so than at the Oscars –so the odds are always stacked against you; and anyway, pretty is never really the point. You should (on the red carpet, and when going to the pub) aim to be the most amazing, most individual, most dazzling version of you. And that’s where an amazing dress, one that suits you and no-one else, comes in. Blanchett’s dress was classical and yet slightly futuristic at the same time; the colours cool and serene rather than cute and fluffy. It was perfectly her, and that made it perfect

Hilary Swank in Guy Laroche, 2005

Why is it a winner? Firstly, its midnight blue. Possibly my favourite colour. And secondly, I’m a big fan of its unassuming sexiness and simplicity. Swank doesn’t need a deep V neckline or a thigh-high slit to show what great shape she is in, she just lets the cut out back do all the talking. Pretty fabulous.

Kim Basinger in a self-designed dress, 1990

Strictly – aesthetically – this outfit is abysmal. Not only does the fabric look cheap but the silhouette suggests that Cinderella has strangled Prince Charming and made off with half of his jacket. It’s so awful it comes as no surprise that Basinger designed it herself – and that’s what I love about it. As if anyone, in cynical 2015, would faff around sketching a dress that had appeared to them in a cheese dream when they could use the red carpet to pay allegiance to a fashion mega-brand. This monstrosity is a relic from a more innocent time

Michelle Williams in Vera Wang, 2006

It’s so hard to look good in yellow, but even more challenging if the yellow is fluted and frilled. Factor in having to stand on a red carpet, and it’s a recipe for disaster. Yet Williams, with her gamine crop and arresting lipstick, looks flawless.

Lauren Hutton in 1980

Full disclosure: this image of Lauren Hutton killing in it gold shorts at the Oscars in 1980 has only been on my red carpet moodboard for about five minutes. It was the designer Michael Kors who brought it to my attention at New York Fashion Week. He was saying how he hoped that someone like Emma Stone would go off-piste in the style of Hutton. And as an antidote to a boring old gown, this takes some beating. Hutton looks fabulous, from the gold lame by Zoran, to the sheer tights, to the cheeky grin. Bet she was the first to suggest tequila shots that night.

Grace Kelly in bespoke Edith Head, in 1955

The year is 1955, when Hollywood was at the height of glamour. Grace Kelly attends the Oscars in an icy mint satin dress by costume designer Edith Head, accessorised with white gloves and yellow roses in her hair. At the time, it’s thought to have been the most expensive Oscar gown ever made. Pair that with the roses she plucked the roses from a display on the red carpet and she basically wrote the book on effortless chic. There is no one chicer than Grace.

Travel Lean-Your Guide To Healthy Foods On An Airplane/Cruise/Road Trip

We all at some point of time are travelling and taking those long flights and hopping across the continent. The most general Phrase i hear people say when they travel extensively is that we donot have the time to workout or we do not eat home food or healthy food to stay fit. While i term this as just a bunch of excuses, Without access to your local supermarket on your next trip you may find yourself subsisting on fattening restaurant meals and abandoning your usual exercise routine to sit for long hours on planes or buses. Vegetarian, organic, low carb, low cal, low fat -- no matter which diet you're on, there's a good chance that it went down the tubes on your last vacation.

But believe it or not, it is possible to eat well on a cross-country road trip, cruise or flight  to stay active without access to a gym and even to go on a cruise without gaining 5 or 10 pounds. You can eat healthy and stay active no matter what kind of trip you're taking.

On the Plane

Just because you're stuck on a plane doesn't mean you're stuck eating the congealed meat and starchy sides the airlines call food. (That's if your airline serves meals at all.)
Your first line of defense against unhealthy airline menus is to bring what food you can from home.Airport prohibit passengers from taking liquids and gels in excess of 3.4 ounces through airport security checkpoints, but solid snacks like bananas, apples, trail mix, nuts, carrots, celery sticks and energy bars should pass muster. Pack a few of these in your carry-on and skip the airline's salty snacks.
Once you've passed through security, anything you buy at the airport may be brought onto your flight, so this is your chance to stock up on bottled water and buy a salad or sandwich to eat on the plane. Many airports have begun adding more healthy dining options to their standard array of fast food; look for dishes with lots of vegetables and fiber, and skip the fried stuff.
In flight, avoid alcohol and soft drinks -- both can dehydrate you. Water is always your best bet for staying hydrated and sticking to your diet.

At Sea

Cruise ships have a well-deserved reputation as bastions of gluttony, with food, food and more food available literally 24 hours a day on many ships. Luckily, amid all the pizza, creamy pastas and self-serve ice cream, most cruise lines also offer lighter and healthier options with reduced fat, sodium and/or carbs. Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Holland America and many other lines have eliminated trans fats completely from their dining rooms, and on most ships you'll find vegetarian and other healthier options clearly marked on the menus.
Along with overeating, cruisers have also traditionally faced the temptation to laze around by the pool instead of staying active -- but on today's ships, there's no reason not to exercise if you have the motivation. Nearly all modern vessels have a gym and jogging track at the bare minimum, and most also offer a number of fitness classes (yoga, aerobics, etc.) that passengers can take thoughout their cruise.
Newer ships, particularly those in the Royal Caribbean fleet, have everything from ice skating rinks and rock-climbing walls to bowling alleys and boxing rings. But here's perhaps the simplest way to get in a little extra exercise: don't take the elevator. Most modern-day mega-ships have so many decks that jogging up or down the stairs every time you need to get somewhere will easily help you burn a few extra calories.
On the Road

Long hours of sitting in the car and eating fast food at every rest stop can derail a diet faster than you can say "road trip." How can you break the cycle? First, take McDonald's off the menu. Before you set forth on your journey, fill a cooler with healthy snacks like fruit, raw veggies and sandwiches from home, and then restock your stash along the way with offerings from local grocery stores. Don't forget the bottled water! (Save money and the environment by purchasing gallon jugs of water to use to refill your bottles.)

VALENTINES Special-Things you need to learn from The Boys (In The Gym Of Course ) ;)

Yes ladies this  I know most of you are rolling your eyes or raising your eyebrows but the fact is when it comes to gym training the boys teach us a lot and the things we do wrong...Not convinced READ ON!!!The Boys will agree

#1 Have you ever seen a guy jump on the treadmill and trot there for hours without breaking a sweat?Or conversing with a friend about the latest fashion doing the rounds and not even gasping for breath when doing a cardio session????Sounds familiar?Because men don't do that its us girls! Men don't do the talking when they are working out they catch up in between their rest time and if they are doing cardio they are not walking like a model on ramp. They mean business. They are doing some serious running and High Intensity Cardio They keep the duration short and intense so you are burning max calories from it.So the next time girls you are wondering why you are not losing the stubborn fat around your belly take a cue from the guys and start with some serious intensity you should not be able to have a conversation with your best buddy beside you that how hard you cardio should get!
#2 Have you ever seen a guy who does not train with weights?!Difficult to picture that right. We ladies get to starving for that tiny weeny waist while the men eat their meals and eat again and again and we wonder what the heck is going on.Science is going on!The more muscle mass we have the more calories our bodies burn. The more weights we lift the more lean muscle mass we gain.
But whats going on with you ladies. The most common thing i hear is oh i don't lift weights because that makes me BULKY!Girls seriously lifting weights WILL NOT MAKE YOU BULKY because you do not have that testosterone that men do to gain that kind of muscle.Even the most competitive female body builder have to train hours take different variety of supplements to get somewhere near that look  .Take a cue from the guy LIFT do 1 or 2 body parts a day 12-15 reps and get losing those inches

#3 have u seen men training on their ABS everyday?Do u see them doing situps or crunches everyday? Or for that matter any body part everyday?? No !!! Then why do you girls go do crunches every single day expecting a flat stomach? The guys train 1-2 body per week that's all is needed to overload the muscle and let it grow.ABDOMINAL IS ALSO A MUSCLE train it 1 max 2 times a week. Also exercises like squats lunges and back exercises are stimulating your core other days a week. So girls stop over working your ab muscles go hit legs or back

So ladies learn from your valentine this valentine Stay fit and happy until my next blog be sexy and stylish :*
