MODEL SPEAK-MY PERSONAL FAV TIPS



As a fitness consultant and model/actor i lead by example.Only when i look lean and fit can i inspire and motivate others to feel and look good.Im confident about my body in front of the camera and rarely have bad hair or skin days ...I get tons of emails and messages asking me what i do to stay lean and how i get a healthy glow on my face.
There are some things i swear by which have helped me achieved my fitness goals and maintained great health.In this section i share with you some of my favorites which make me STRONGER,FITTER AND HAPPIER
LIFTING WEIGHTS 3-4 times a week-Yes lifting weights raises my metabolic weight because im adding lean muscle to my body which makes me an efficient fat burning machine!!!oh boy this one is literally a fat burner.The more lean muscle mass you have in your body the more fat you are burning and women need not worry you will not get bulky lifting weights its just a myth.The only way to get that toned look is lifting weights 12-15 repetitions per set!!! Weight training is the best way to put on some lean muscle and ladies do not fear weights as they wont make you look bulky but rather you will lose the stubborn inches


  • DRINKING 10 GLASSES OF WATER-Yes you have probably heard this before but drinking water flushes your toxins making your skin look smoother and younger.No amount of make up can give you that glow.In addition to that drinking water beats bloating which makes you look larger.So guzzle that water carry a bottle of around with you take frequent sips.Give up on the fuzzy drinks they will just add on calories.Water is calorie FREE!!Also if you are using loads of makeup on your face your skin tends to get dull.Water is the magical vitamin to hydrate every pore on yor face and body.Drink up
  • WATCHING COMEDY-Laughter is the best medicine.Any amount of stress makes you gain weight and makes you look dull.So go for a standup comedy,or rent a comic film or simply spend time giggling with your friends.Your body will thank you for it
  • EATING SLOWLY-Confused? Most of the calories we eat come from the first 3 mins of when we attack food.We are starving and over eat and fill ourselves up in the fisrt 3-4 mins of seeing food.Our brain takes about 15 mins to signal that it is full so the next time u sit for lunch or dinner eat slowly take smaller bites and chew and sip on water.You will realize you are consuming lesser calories
  • Eating protein rich foods-We all know our bodies are made up of protein from the muscles to hair and skin.Usually diets deficient in protein makes you gain weight easily and makes your skin and hair look very dull.I know people who want to get on a diet and say im on Soups and salad which makes me wonder WHERS THE PROTEIN?If you don get enough protein and keep working out your body resorts to the protein in your muscle and you certainly dont want that!!.There are a variety of lean protein options to choose from to keep up with your daily need..My fav are chicken and egg whites
  • WALKING-this is a magic wand.i never sit in 1 place for too long always taking the stairs,walking till my car or js go for a walk.Low intensity cardio on daily basis keeps u healthy and feel good.So next time if u want to feel energized dont buy a energy drink..Go fr a 30 mins brisk walk and you will feel your body feeling great 
  • DRESS UP-ahh whats the connection??? When you are getting ready for a party or lunch meeting your wardrobe shows you if you have gained weight or the shirt gives away your paunch.My personal fav is i buy a size small of dress and work to get into that size or wear a t-shirt whch is fitted so you are  aware of your body shape and seee the subtle changes as you go on your way of eating healthy and working out

    7 GREAT HABITS OF LEAN /FIT PEOPLE

    You are right.Its easier to eat a 10 inch pizza than to run on the treadmill.Its easier to say leave it i give up than say this i can do it.So u know what ? Im not gona sit here and tell u day after day that you can do this.If u dont believe u can then u cant Thats the honest truth.You need to do this for u..So either take the easy way out and remain unhealthy coz u are the only one hurting yourself or change your lifestyle...I DIDNT SAY IT WOULD BE EASY I SAID IT WOULD BE WORTH IT




    LEAN HABIT 1#KEEP MOVING#Thats correct.U wont find a fit person sitting in 1 place for a very long time.Fit people fidget,dont sit hours on the couch.With every chance they walk stand even stretch.They walk round the office or home,Climb stairs ...Walk up to get groceries or park cars at distance so they can get a chance to be on their feet.This makes so much of sense.These tid bits of activities actually burn lot of calories so you dont have to do it all together in the gym!



    LEAN HABIT 2#DRESS UP yes u heard me right! People who are fashionable are more aware of their body and are conscious about their looks.When you try on an expensive dress and see that you are out of shape that drives you towards taking better care of your self.Rather than buying new clothes try getting back to your skinny jeans.Devote yourself to healthy and see how you drop those pounds.You can only motivate yourself the best



                                              Dressing up makes you feel aware of your body

    LEAN HABIT 3#Chewing more and eating slowly causes to ingest fewer
    calories. The increase in chewing simultaneously lowered levels of appetite-stimulating hormones and increased levels of appetite-suppressing hormones.It takes 15 minutes for your brain to signal that you are full and we eat up most of the food in the first 5 mins.Lean people eat slowly take a bite sip water and enjoyy the taste of food .So the next time you sit to eat Taste your food enjoy every bite 

    LEAN HABIT 4#READ DIET AND EXERCISE TIPS Being exposed to the fitness world leads people to be more aware of how their diet and lifestyle is.To ensure you have enough motivation and stay focused on your healthy weight subscribe in a fitness newsletter or health related blog.Be a part of the fitness world.Once you come into the fitness world your life will change and you will begin incorporating small healthy habits which will go a long way keeping you fit for life.


    LEAN HABIT 5#GUZZLING WATER YES!!! Actors Supermodels do this everyday.carrying a bottle around,sipping on ice cold water this helps u keeping hydrated keeps your hunger in check and flush your toxins giving u clear skin.Aerated drinks are the number 1 culprits for belly fat! 





    LEAN HABIT 6#EAT MEALS LIKE SNACKING Next time you eat your lunch or dinner dont eat like theres no tomorrow or no next meal.Eat like you have to snack again in the next 3 hours.Doing that will ensure your body is getting foods at correct intervals and your metabolic rate is high.Eating too much food at 1 time makes your metabolism slugghish and more prone to weight gain around your abs and hips.BE SMART see that your meals are in protein/complex carbs/healthy fat combination you will never gain weight!

    LEAN HABIT 7#GET 7-8 HOURS OF SLEEP A good night’s sleep has been linked to a host of major health
    benefits, not the least of which is maintaining healthy body weight.People who slept for fewer than six
    hours or more than eight hours each night gained significantly more weight than those who slept
    for six to eight hours. Lack of sleep has been shown to increase appetite, lower willpower, and
    bolster cravings for high-calorie foods.

    Dance To The CORE(Literally) How dancing is good for your core?



    Variety is the spice of life and its true when it comes to losing weight and adding some new routines in your schedule.If u are a beginner or an advanced fitness fanatic we all slip into boredom once in a while doing those endless situps and leg raises for the core.But it doesnt have to be that way.The most fun activity dancing is actually good for your CORE! not to forget the added benefits of Dancing.

    Dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including:

    Improved condition of your lungs and heart
    Increased muscular strength-The more lean muscle you have in your body the more ca;lories you burn
    Increased aerobic fitness
    Improved muscle tone and Strength-Dancing builds strength by forcing the muscles to resist against a dancers own body weight
    Weight management
    Stronger bones and reduced risk of osteoporosis-This is extremely beneficial for women post menopause especially



    So how is dancing good for your core?? How an i get those dream flat abs?
    Every dance technique requires intense control that is provided by the core.In any dance u must hold the spine firm which is only stablised by the core muscles with are the primary muscles that are being worked.Whether its Swing,waltz,salsa,zumba,require intense movements.Ballroom dancing with your partner is such a beauty to the eyes but its also quick and powerful Notice how the back is always straight and the entire movement is dependent on the core!
    Bellydancers use just their core to do different movements.Ever wondered why they have the most toned abs in the world???? its because belly dancing hits almost every part of the core u can imagine!
    It is a misconception that u need to do 500 crunches a day everyday for you to get flat abs
    your abdominal muscles will only be seen when your body fat percentage goes down and the fat aurrounding your abs is diminished-That is easily achieved by dancing as it is an excellent fat burner
    Also your abdominal muscle is actually a big sheet of muscle.Treat it like any other body part.If u dont work on our bicep or back muscle everyday why exhaust the abs.Overtrainning wont give u any benefits.Dancing is a fabulous way to strengthen those core muscles and work on it
    Not only the abs dancing is a wonderful overbody workout
    The legs,butt,calves,are thoroughly worked out in any forms of dancing
